So I have this neighbor, right, and he’s sometimes quite loud. When it’s warmer out, he likes to sit around, drink beer with his friends, and light a quaint little fire in his over-sized smoker (or his “fucking oven” as he calls it). With his shirt off. Drinking and talking loud with his shirt off, huddled around a fire, and when I’m really lucky, drunkenly yelling nonsense at people. Sometimes random (there was an incident with people driving too fast around the apartment complex) and sometimes he likes to yell at his friends. I think he may have gone to rehab or something because he hasn’t been as entertaining lately, but this occasion was so enthralling I had to add bass to it.
Brilliant, and way better than the common advice of ‘grin and bear it’. How else are you going to cope with a neighbor like this? Caution: plenty of profanity.
Who is that reasonable sounding guy trying to soothe to the crazy one? Why does he hang around?
Blue Breakfast
A light-hearted blues from Griff to start the day.
Time for one more baby feeding, then off to work for me. Enjoy.
This is a re-recording of a song I wrote within the last year or two. It’s just an instrumental, but I hope you enjoy it all the same.

I’ve been so buried in babies and work, I haven’t been able to bring you the daily Griff. Here’s an awesome instrumental from a couple days ago.
Here’s a song I wrote based partly on the Dust Bowl era and partly on a poem called, “A Dutch Proverb” by Matthew Prior. Hope you enjoy.
“Oklahoma Dirt”, by Griff. Click through to follow the lyrics, and wonder what source he is tapping to come up with this.
Aww. I got a dedication.
“Drama Queen”, by Griff.
I wrote this song because I was in a nostalgic mood. I dedicate this song to Kendal, Glenn, B.C., and Empty Cup (Mike, Brandon, and Romio). Ah, the old days. Where have they gone? Who really cares?
Here’s a newer song I recently recorded called “Louisiana Bayou.”
“Being Friends” - Ten Golden Oldies
This is a re-recording of a song I wrote in 2001 for an album called Man-Eater Ballads.
My old friend Griff has finally started to post his music online. You should listen to this and then start following him.
